A new friend of mine passed me a book entitled “test taking secrets”. Its basically a book about the dynamics of test taking, and tips on how to prepare yourself for tests. It provides a fairly clear guide for students to efficiently and effectively prepare themselves for tests.
Reading this book makes me wonder about the larger things in life. Erm.. basically it makes me wonder about life. Haha.. I was thinking is there a guidebook about life? Something like “life living secrets”? Naturally the bible came to mind. =P
Side-track a bit. Some concerned friends have asked me about my heart condition (that hole in my heart). I think i should clarify it. Yes, i was diagnosed with a hole in heart back in secondary 1. Waaaay back then, the doc said it wasn’t serious and shouldn’t affect my normal daily routines. It wasn’t even a hole, it’s more like a tiny cavity. Pretty recently the doc said the hole might have closed up cos my heart beat sounded perfectly normal to him. Last time it used to have an extra beat (long long story again, just know it’s no big deal). So, no, i didn’t discover the hole just recently, and yes, I’m perfectly healthy and fine. The only thing is that i’ll experience heart ache from time to time. Just this tightness in my chest which normally doesn’t last more than a minute.
I’m pretty touched by the care and concern my friends had shown over this matter. Thank you all. Yep, i’ll certainly take care of my body, cos it’s the temple of God. Hee..
Oh, and it seems that some friends have been diligently reading my blog! That’s a great encouragement man. At least i know i’m not talking to air! Haha.. Thanks a lot people. And yep, I’ll keep at it!
I’m dead tired today. Long long day working. Tomorrow morning i’m taking the 7am train back to Singapore. Gosh, have to wake up at 6am.. Tentatively returning to Malaysia on Saturday. Will be extra busy during my short trip back in Singapore, cos nowadays i’m hardly there and i’ve got a lot of stuff to do when i’m back. Anyway i don’t think i’ll have time to meet you guys, unless you’ve already scheduled an appointment. Haha.. yep, that’s how busy i am! haha.. call my secretary in advance to make appointments. hahaha.. I should be in Singapore for one or two days every week or two. Argh… need some rest.
